Maybelline Better Skin Powder
[Disclaimer] I received this product for review purposes, but my thoughts can't be bought.
So... It's Sparrow
I received this product from Influenster a few days ago (want to sign up and get free products? Click Here) and honestly, it's a pretty interesting product. It's listed as a setting powder, but has enough coverage to double as a powder foundation and is supposed to be mattifying for many hours while improving your skin.
How? Well it contains Salicylic Acid, which isn't the friendliest product to my skin (read: it breaks me out) which is listed on the front, but in negligibly small text. So I did have a lovely break out on my jaw that I had to heal. Furthermore the shade I received was a touch too light, so it leaves a bit of a ghostly cast on my skin.
Despite that, the product has promise. For those who need the extra acid and a light coverage foundation option, or even an on the go skin evener for a random day, this is a good product. For someone like me, who loves medium to full coverage, I rather use it to set any foundations that run a little dark.
Ending thought: They should probably make the sal acid warning BIGGER.
