2nd set of swatches from DEVINAH! I was half asleep when I posted last night so I don’t think that I mentioned any of of the relevant information. Their eyeshadows are $5 and the highlights are $14 but they often have different promotions going on. You can find about those as well as a link to their website on their IG, @devinahcosmetics
Back to the matter at hand! This set of swatches gives you a pretty good look at the different types of finishes they have to offer (glitter, satin, duochrome, matte, metallic etc). SYBIL is a definite favorite of mine. Not only do I love the plum color, the formula is very nice as well. It’s pigmented and applies smoothly without being too soft. CRUSH is a rosy satin. It has a hint of shimmer but I think it’s subtle enough that you could use it in your crease without looking ridiculous. IMMORTALITY is a pearly white with a pink shift. It’s definitely a dupe for one of my favorite colors from MAC. ARIA and PANDORA are mattes. They both swatched beautifully. I’m very impressed with ARIA as matte purples are especially tricky. PARAMOUR is a deep metallic burgundy.
I still haven’t used these on my eyes. I’m always so excited to show you guys swatches that I hate waiting to post them. I’m tempted to do my makeup now even though I have no intention of leaving the house and I’m planning to go bed as soon as it’s dark out. I feel like swatches aren’t always a good representation of how a shadow will perform, especially with mattes. I’ve had mattes that swatch like shit but apply great on the eyes and vice versa. Anyway! I’ll let you guys know how these wear soon.
